Bandage & Saniderm Wrap
If we applied a Saniderm/SecondSkin film, keep it on for 3 to 5 days (depending on your specific consult). If it fills with dark liquid, that is completely normal—it's a mixture of plasma, blood, and excess ink.
If using a traditional cling wrap, remove it after 2 to 4 hours. Never re-wrap the tattoo unless explicitly instructed.
The First Wash
Wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before touching. Gently wash the tattoo using lukewarm water and Dial Gold liquid antibacterial soap. Do not use washcloths—use your bare hand.
Gently pat completely dry with a clean paper towel. Do not rub. Let it air dry for 15 minutes before applying a very light, paper-thin layer of fragrance-free Aveeno lotion.
The Golden Rules
Simple, non-negotiable practices to guarantee beautiful healing.
